Required Texts/ Literature.
This weebly will offer students a variety of printable resources for use in the classroom. Students are expected to print these and have them ready on the dates specified in the course calendar.
Novels.
Students will read two novels over the course of the semester. Both texts are require purchases. I will make sure that the books are available at Barnes and Noble at the Arboretum*. My recommendation is that students always purchase the novels we will read. One reason is that this allows students to annotate their texts freely. Another benefit is that they may add to their personal libraries. If cost is a factor, students may speak with me privately about arrangements to make books available to them.
Novels/Plays/Books to Purchase.
- Much Ado About Nothing, by William Shakespeare
- The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini
*Barnes and Noble (at the Arboretum) will be holding a back-to-school book fair, at which students have the option to purchase most of the books we will read for the course. Vocabulary books will also be available at this time.
